Natasha smiled at him, “Things are going to be okay… Nothing will hurt us or our babies…” she kissed his cheek, “I love you, so much.” she smiled, “You’ve given me more than I ever thought I would have in life.”Loki pulled Natasha tight against his chest, his arms wrapping protectively around her. “And you’ve done the same for me, my love.” Kissing her gently he looked deeply into her eyes. “I love you and our babies so much, and I always will. That’s my promise to all of you.”
Natasha grinned, leaning up and kissing his lips softly. “I promise to love you til the end of time,” she whispered, one hand resting on his chest, “Youre perfect for me, in every way, and I will always try to be perfect for you,”
Loki smiled, looking down at her with nothing but adoration. “You don’t even need to try, you’re perfect just the way you are. I love you Natasha.” He rubbed her stomach gently. Kissing the top of her head he sighed out of content. “You should get some sleep my love, can’t pull all-nighters anymore with the little one.” As he spoke he continued to rub her stomach gently as he pulled the blankets over them.
Natasha nodded as Director Fury told her what to do with the prisoner. She needed to interrogate him, but he didn’t tell her how, only because he knew she was the only one who truly know how to do. She was a natural at manipulation. With this prisoner, anyone else questioning him would be cat and mouse, and he would be the mouse. God of Lies and Mischief or not, this battle between he and Natasha would be cat and cat.
“Yes sir.” She confirmed, turning and walking to Loki’s cell to find out exactly what SHIELD needed to know.
Why Loki was here. Everyone knew that he wouldn’t stay locked in unless he wanted to. He was waiting for it, and this was the place it would happen.
Loki was watching the door to his cell closely. He knew she was coming. He could feel it in his bones. Stretching out on the bench that was built into the side of his cell he waited patiently for her to arrive. In the back of his mind he was well aware that she was probably the only one they would allow to speak with him. She was the only one qualified to.
He raised an eyebrow when the redhead entered the room. “Ah, Agent Romanoff what a pleasure to see you.” As he spoke he slowly stood up.
She chuckled, “the you are a crazy man Loki Laufeyson.” She held up her glass in cheers clinking her glass to his before downing it, “at least I’m not alone now.. I was almost going to leave this is just sickening.” She said with a sigh before completely turning away from Tony and looking back at the bar handing the bartender her empty glass, “enough of my complaining, tell me about yourself?” She smirked, “Asgard wasn’t alluring enough for you?” She asked shoving him playfully. She was obviously out of her normal attitude. The alcohol was the main factor of that.
“What would you like to know about me, Miss Potts?” Laughing softly Loki shook his head as he raised his glass up to his lips and took another sip of his drink. “Asgard lost its allure for me a long, long time ago.” He set the empty glass back down and motioned for the bartender to bring him another. Turning to face Pepper completely he smiled, he found her new attitude to be quite amusing.
Natasha smiled at him, “Things are going to be okay… Nothing will hurt us or our babies…” she kissed his cheek, “I love you, so much.” she smiled, “You’ve given me more than I ever thought I would have in life.”
Loki pulled Natasha tight against his chest, his arms wrapping protectively around her. “And you’ve done the same for me, my love.” Kissing her gently he looked deeply into her eyes. “I love you and our babies so much, and I always will. That’s my promise to all of you.”
Natasha smiled and nuzzled him, “You really want her to have my hair?” she asked, looking up at him happily. Her eyes were sparkling with joy, glad that they were getting a second chance, “Our little girl,” she cooed, laying her head on his shoulder.
“Of course I want her to have your hair. It’s beautiful. And it’s one of the first things that drew me to you.” To make his point known Loki lovingly runs a hand through Natasha’s hair. “She’ll be so beautiful. Things are going to work out this time, my love. I just know it.” He mumbled kissing the top of her head softly.
She chuckled with him, “yes well if you enjoy drunk woman that throw themselves at you at every chance they get exciting? Then you picked the right day.” She laughed some, “or there is the other possibility that you actually enjoy being around me when I’m drunk and trust me right now I’ll admit it won’t be too fun.” She chuckled taking a sip from her martini before taking out the olives eating them one at a time, “how can a woman be so desperate to get laid?!” She asked half contemplating how much stress she had was just tension but she pressed it to the back of her mind, like always.
Loki chuckled loudly as he set his glass down on the bar. Watching Pepper eat the olives he silently contemplated her question. “I think they’re all so desperate because they believe that they have a chance to be something more than just a one night stand. When in reality we both know that they don’t. And at morning light when you’re sending them off they come to that realization as well.” Smiling he looked her over. “To be honest with you, Miss Potts, I rather enjoy your company. It doesn’t matter to me if you’re drunk or not, you always make good conversation either way.”
Loki chuckled softly, wrapping an arm tight around her waist he smiled. Running his fingers through her hair he hummed softly. “I’m glad to hear that, my darling.” He moved slightly so that his forehead rest against his wife’s. “And I love the new addition to our family very much as well. I bet she’ll be as beautiful as you are, love.”Natasha blushed brightly, resting a hand on her stomach, “You still know how to make me blush,” she smiled, leaning in and kissing him softly. “I hope she looks like you, I want her to have your eyes,” she purred, resting her free hand on her cheek.
Loki smiled brightly down at Natasha, his hand slipping down to rest on top of her’s. “Oh, I try my best. You’re adorable when you blush, my love.” Leaning into her touch he kissed the tip of her nose. “I hope that she looks like you, I’m fine with her having my eyes but I want her to have your hair.”
Pepper was slightly surprised as she heard the British voice next to her. She was a bit tipsy when she turned her head and smirked slightly, “Loki?” She asked curiously and turned towards him, “it’s nice to see you again.” She chuckled at his comment looking back at the dance floor where Tony was letting a girl use his iron man hands as she was on his shoulders. She shook her head, “well Tony was my only friend here and I got to thinking just how many woman I’ll have to pick up after tomorrow..” She sighed and looked back over to Loki, “what brings you here?”
“And it’s nice to see you again as well, Miss Potts.” As Loki spoke he glanced in the same direction that Pepper had, the ends of his mouth twitched but he suppressed every urge he had to smile at the sight before him. Turning back to look at Pepper he smiled at her sympathetically. “I’m sorry for what you’ll have to deal with in the morning, you are a very strong woman for putting up with Anthony’s antics.” He nodded in thanks to the bartender when he returned with his drink. “I just thought I would stop by for a visit, see what’s going on around the tower and such. It seems as though I picked a good night to visit.” Chuckling softly he raised the glass to his lips and took a small sip of his drink.
Loki smiled against Natasha’s lips, his hands resting on her hips. “And I love you, my darling. So much.” Holding her close to him he kissed the top of her head.Natasha grinned and kissed down his jaw to his ear, whispering softly, “I will always love you, I swear it.” she grinned, nuzzling his neck and jaw softly. The redhead curled up, pulling the blanket around them.
Loki chuckled softly, wrapping an arm tight around her waist he smiled. Running his fingers through her hair he hummed softly. “I’m glad to hear that, my darling.” He moved slightly so that his forehead rest against his wife’s. “And I love the new addition to our family very much as well. I bet she’ll be as beautiful as you are, love.”
Loki smiled against Natasha’s lips, his hands resting on her hips. “And I love you, my darling. So much.” Holding her close to him he kissed the top of her head.
Pepper sighed at the bar taking a sip of her martini, her vision full of woman hitting on Tony and him having his flirting fits as they all surrounded him. Those stupid ditsy women, all she could think of was that in the morning she would have to get them out of the tower. She took a deep breath downing her martini, oh god she was so alone. She just realized how she had practically no friends here except for Tony and he was obviously occupied. She considered going up to him and just calling it a night, giving his present and just leaving. It was his birthday after all. Pepper looked at the seat next to her where the wrapped square present laid and she grabbed her new martini making her way through the crowd to the gift table setting it down and she shook her head wondering why she even brought it, he already had so many. She looked back out at everyone and searched for a single white man in the crowd but there seemed to be none. She rolled her eyes making herself back to the bar, “I’ll need extra olives in the next one.” She said rubbing her temples and rolling her eyes, she barely ever drank but she knew tonight was a night where she was pushing her limits. She couldn’t figure out if that was a good or bad thing. She just hoped the night would turn around, at least she would have some reason for staying there if it did.
Loki smirked as he walked through the large crowds of people, apparently it was Anthony Stark’s birthday, not that it really mattered to him even if there hadn’t been a rather large party going on at the moment he probably would have stopped in for a visit anyways. He rolled his eyes as he passed by the large table of gifts. As if the billionaire really needed all of those things, he thought to himself as he watched a few people place their gifts down then walk away. Loki sighed as he continued to make his way around the room maneuvering through the crowds trying to get to the bar as quickly as possible. A new smirk appeared on Loki’s face when he approached the bar and found none other than Pepper Potts sitting alone with a martini in her hand. Sliding on to the seat beside the woman he smiled kindly at her. “Pardon me Miss Potts, but why are you here by yourself and not enjoying the party?” Motioning for the bartender to get him a drink he stared at her with interest.
